Terms of Service

Acceptance
By using ScreeningPass you agree to these terms. If you are using ScreeningPass on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Filmmaker accounts
- You are responsible for all content you upload.
- You warrant that you own or have licensed all rights to content you screen.
- You agree to use ScreeningPass only for lawful purposes.
- Your account is personal and non-transferable.
Platform fee
ScreeningPass charges a platform fee on ticket sales. The current fee is displayed in your dashboard and at checkout. Stripe processing fees are passed through at cost and shown transparently. Founding Creators have a reduced lifetime fee as specified at onboarding.
Viewer access
Your screening access link is personal and non-transferable. Sharing your link may result in access being revoked. Refunds for paid tickets are at the sole discretion of the filmmaker. EmpowerFlix does not process refunds except in cases of platform error.
Content standards
You may not use ScreeningPass to distribute content that is illegal, infringes third-party rights, is deceptive, or violates any applicable law. EmpowerFlix reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts at its discretion.
Intellectual property
You retain all rights to your content. By uploading content to ScreeningPass, you grant EmpowerFlix a limited license to host and deliver that content to your registered viewers.
Limitation of liability
ScreeningPass is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, EmpowerFlix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the platform after notice of changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
